Lines and wrinkles appear over time as muscles relax and contract producing frown lines, forehead lines and crow's feet. This is where Botox® can diminish and smooth out existing lines and wrinkles by "freezing the muscle".
Loss of volume in the skin and also the pull of gravity causes folds and deeper creases to appear. Lines from the bottom of the nose to the corner of the mouth (nasolabial fold) and from the corners of the mouth down to the jaw (marionette) lines can all be treated with dermal fillers to plump and restore lost volume.
